Job summary
Modality Partnership Mid Sussex Division
has a vacancy for a Salaried GP with a specialist interest in lifestyle
medicine to assist us in the
delivery and expansion of our already established and successful dietary
Diabetes Reversal Programme. Practical experience in lifestyle medicine
is not an absolute requirement as you will be mentored by a Mid Sussex GP Partner, who works
alongside other Modality partners who are subject matter experts in therapeutic
carbohydrate restriction with an international profile having spoken at various

The postholder will be passionate about
patient care, working across Modality Mid Sussex division and contributing to the innovation
within the partnership in the way care is delivered.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work 4-6 sessions of core primary care clinical
work and 1 session of lifestyle medicine/organisation development work. The role is a patient centred one
although there is an opportunity to work remotely for some sessions. Our Diabetes Reversal Programme is being
delivered via virtual and face to face group consultations. We will provide you
with the supervision necessary to safely de-medicate diabetic patients and lead
group consultations. You will be trained in facilitating an holistic approach
to patient health and well-being, emphasising the importance of movement,
sleep, stress management, diet and exercise. For those of you who are eligible
we will support your application for a post-CCT Fellowship programme.
This job is suitable for individuals who are compassionate, patient focused and have a real passion for primary care, and working within a larger GP super partnership, who are dedicated to making real changes to the health care services provided within Primary Care to improve patient care and the work life balance for our staff.
