Job summary
Are you a confident, supportive leader who thrives in a calm and focused nightshift environment? We're looking for a dedicated Team Leader to guide and inspire our Night Team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service throughout the overnight hours. Working 27 hours per week from 22:00pm to 08:00am, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards and supporting colleagues.
Main duties of the job
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective use of nursing supplies, equipment and other resources.
- To Co-ordinate off duty and annual leave in collaboration with nursing colleagues.
- Responsible for monitoring any absenteeism within the team in accordance with organisational policy.
- Be responsible for the managerial and day to day clinical supervision process of all staff in team.
- Organise and facilitate the orientation and induction of new staff members.
- Participate in the selection and recruitment of members of staff.
- Participate in skill mix review and workforce planning to identify service requirement.
