Were looking for an enthusiastic and experiencedBand 6 Community Nurseto join our friendly and welcoming Community Nursing Team inGravesend, North Kent, and help us continue improving the way we deliver high-quality community care.
Gravesham Community Hospital is located a short distance from St Georges Shopping Centre and surrounded by well-known food and coffee outlets, making it an ideal and convenient base.
We haveone full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week).The Community Nursing Team works7 days a week, 08:0020:00on a rota basis.
Afull UK driving licence and access to a vehiclefor work purposes is essential.
Main duties of the job
In this Band 6 role, youll use your clinical expertise and NMC registration to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in the community. Youll work independently while also contributing to a wider multidisciplinary team, supporting junior staff, and ensuring safe, effective practice across the service.
You will bring strong communication and organisational skills, a flexible and proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering positive patient experiences at every stage of their care.

You have strong clinical assessment skills and can confidently work autonomously in a community setting
You can support, guide and mentor junior staff as part of your Band 6 responsibilities
You are confident using IT systems and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
You hold afull UK driving licenceand have access to a vehicle for work
