Main duties of the job

Community Role Support the assessment and care planning process alongside the Team Manager and specialist colleagues. Deliver and review care in partnership with patients, escalating any concerns or changes promptly. Communicate clearly with patients, carers, and the wider team, prioritising work according to clinical needs. Keep accurate, up-to-date records and follow evidence-based best practice. Contribute actively to meetings, handovers, and health promotion activities.

Ward Role Provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a safe, clean environment. Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care while maintaining accurate documentation. Communicate openly with patients and carers, fostering positive relationships among all involved in their care. Uphold the NMC Code of Conduct, adapt to work across wards as needed, and support audits to improve practice. Promote evidence-based care and take personal responsibility for infection control.

Job responsibilities

As a Band 5 Nurse working on the Bank for HCRG Care Group, you'll be part of our valued team across BSW.

You will feel valued as Bank Band 5 Nurse within HCRG Care Group, receiving access to exclusive rewards and benefits including:

Essential criteria:

  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Mentorship/teaching qualification (within first 2 years of post)
  • Educated to diploma level
