Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated SPA administrator to join our team at HCRG Care Group, based at High Post, Salisbury, Wiltshire!
The post-holder will play a crucial role in delivering an excellent customer experience for patients, carers, and professionals contacting the Single Point of Access (SPA). This is a fast-paced and demanding role that involves handling phone, email, and postal enquiries and acting as the first point of contact for Wiltshire Childrens Community Services and our partner organisations.
This is a 30 hour position working 4 days a week 9am-5pm. During the 3 month probationary period you will be expected to come into our hub for your working days, but there will be opportunitiy for hybrid working afterwards.
Interviews are expected to take place w/c 5thMay.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities include:
Screen SPA referrals from GPs, users, parents, carers, and partners.
Direct referrals to professionals and handle incorrect ones.
Follow guidelines and work with clinical staff for timely service.
Prioritise and escalate urgent referrals.
Call referrers for additional info to ensure accurate referrals.
Record referrals and data, ensuring confidentiality.
Provide signposting to HCRG and other services.
Assist with data cleansing.
Book and manage clinical appointments via SystmOne.
Send and reschedule appointment letters.
Update clinical systems and databases.
Order goods and services as needed.
Manage correspondence (emails/letters).
Take meeting minutes as required.
Provide flexible support and assist with additional tasks.
