As this is a community-based role,you'll need a valid UK driving licence and access to a car.Our service operates from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of those you care for. Come be a part of something rewarding and transformative!
Main duties of the job
Within this role you will:
- To assist in providing nursing care as delegated by the Senior Sister/Team Sister within patients homes.
- Tomaintain knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the changing needs of patients.
- To provide clerical and administrative support to the team as delegated by the Senior Sister/Teaam Sister.
- To undertake the technical aspects of nursing care e.g. Dressings, glucose monitoring etc. following a period of training and when deemed competent to do so.
- To implement evidence-based nursing care, within the patients home.
- To have the ability to work unsupervised, planning and organising tasks and home visits as delegated by the nurse in charge.
- Maintain accurate and legible patient records in line with professional and organisational requirements this includes electronic patient record system (CIS) and any paper records
