In this flexible, Full or Part Time position, you'll work betweenMonday andFriday9:00am and 5:00pm, with the added benefit of being able to handle administration tasks from the comfort of your home.
As a crucial member of our diagnostic service, you will contribute to supporting children and young people in community clinics across B&NES, Somerset, and Wiltshire.

Main duties of the job
As aChildren's Audiologistyou will:
- Undertake paediatric hearing assessment clinics using appropriate behavioural and objective test techniques
- enable the formulation of individual care plans including the assessment of children considered to be routine as well as those with complex needs
- Write appropriate clear and concise reports to communicate test findings to the referring professional and others involved in the care of the child
- Liaise with colleagues from other disciplines in making individual care plans
- Communicate effectively with children, young people and families who may have hearing loss
- Plan and prioritise own administrative workload, and manage time effectively
- Work with other team members to ensure the smooth running of audiology clinics
- Contribute towards service development with the Childrens Community Audiology Service team
