Job summary
We have a fantastic opportunity available in our Infant Feeding Team. The role will involve coordinating activities to support the Implementation of the Baby Friendly standards. You will provide support to the teams key activities such as training dates, audits, public health and social media campaigns, as well as signposting and supporting colleagues to access resources and information.
The post holder will have a range of duties including administration for the team, coordinating meeting dates and formulating meeting minutes, data collection working with service reporting systems, setting up clinical appointments and liaison with other service providers involved in the implementation of Baby Friendly Care.
This is a part time, fixed term role (covering maternity leave) for 10.5 hours working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include:
- To oversee general administration for all training the team delivers to the wider workforce and external partners, including scheduling of future dates, attendance registers, pre and post emails and resources to attendees, booking of follow up reviews, production of training certificates and all related training matters
- Facilitation of all BFI audits throughout the year, both in-house and for external partners, to include mothers audits, staff audits and building audits. To schedule with the team in advance and work with colleagues to ensure a smooth process is in place. To produce accurate record keeping enabling feedback to be gleamed from the audit process. To gather, calculate, and interpret the results for the purposes of an annual report
- To schedule social media messages on a regular basis that cover Baby Friendly messages and share posts from our partner agencies. To cover public health campaigns and others as requested
- To coordinate website content that covers Baby Friendly information and more as requested
- Manage departmental meetings on a regular basis including diary management, room booking and document management
- To be a point of contact for the team/department. This will include a requirement to manage the team inbox and receive requests for specialist feeding support. Aswell as to oversee team members diaries
- Monitoring and maintaining stock supplies for the team
- Understand the Baby Friendly Initiative programme and its value
