Joint Team Lead for Speech and Language Therapy Band 7 Gravesham
Community Hospital
Are you a pro-active and innovative Speech and Language Therapist with
leadership skills based in the North Kent area? Are you looking to join an NHS
Health and Social Care partner which is striving to make positive changes?
You will jointly lead our friendly and enthusiastic team based at
Gravesham Community Hospital with another part-time (0.6WTE) Team Lead Speech
and Language Therapist. As a forward-thinking and innovative team, we are
always striving to improve and develop our services and we enjoy supporting
colleagues to put their ideas into practice. Over the past year we have worked
hard to adapt the way we deliver our services during the pandemic, whilst
continuing to provide evidence-based and person-centred care. A large
proportion of our intervention is currently delivered via telehealth (phone and
video consultations) and we have worked hard to find creative ways to ensure we
are meeting patients needs.
You will be based primarily in Gravesham Community Hospital and/or
Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital, where we have clinics available for outpatient
appointments. We also have an outpatient clinic at Sheppey Community Hospital.
We provide input on Sapphire Ward, a stroke rehabilitation ward at Gravesham
Community Hospital. You will carry out home visits across Dartford, Gravesham,
Swanley and Swale.
