Job summary

Founded in 2006, Pure Physiotherapy is a clinically lead organisation committed to providing quality physiotherapy care. We have grown organically based on the delivery of expert Musculoskeletal physiotherapy provision and currently have over350physios working across the UK. Pure Physiotherapy is a National First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP) provider, focused on quality and sustainable provision.

We provide around50,000First Contact Physio interventions per month and see around10,000in our private clinics and NHS MSK partnerships. We work with over1,000GP Practices, and over190Primary care networks (PCNs) Nationally, this makes us one of the biggest MSK providers to the NHS and private sectors in the country.

However, size is not our focus, quality and consistency is, and we are very proud of what we do. We are looking for passionate, motivated physios who share our enthusiasm for quality and development.

Main duties of the job

Main Responsibilities:

  • First Contact Physiotherapists will have the skills to assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal (MSK) problems. This will involve supporting patients with undifferentiated conditions within the scope of the role.
  • Be able to consult with patients, without prior referral from their GP and establish a rapid and accurate diagnosis, interpret and act on assessment findings and management plan, thus streamlining pathways of care.
  • Be able to deliver programmes of supported patient self-management, in ways that facilitate behavioural change, optimise individuals' physical activity, mobility and fulfilment of personal goals and independence, whilst minimising the need for pharmacological interventions.

Candidates shortlisted for interview will have:

  • Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Good IT skills including word processing.
  • HCPC and CSP registration.
  • Post-graduate / Masters level qualifications are desirable but not essential (we are very happy to support development whist in post).
