Job summary
At Thorpes Physiotherapy an exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious Physiotherapist to join our MSK team. This is an ideal opportunity for a Physiotherapist wanting to maximise their clinical development in a supportive, friendly and welcoming environment. You will be able utilise modern technology into both assessments and treatments and treat a wide variety of clinical conditions.
This role requires managing an interesting and varied clinical caseload, consisting of NHS patients, private patients, Orthopaedic consultant referrals and you will have the opportunity to run exercise classes.
The applicant should have at least two years of post-graduate experience, including MSK Outpatients
Main duties of the job
- You will be required to assess, treat and manage an interesting and varied MSK caseload
- You will need to have good assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills -this will be further developed through regular IST and clinical mentoring.
- Excellent communication skills are so important as you will need to develop good therapeutic relationships with your patients and colleagues
- You will need to be able to identify what the patients problem is stopping them from doing, the impact its having on their life and set goals based on this
- Develop treatment plans based around the patients goals and ensure they are completed through regular communication and follow up.
- You need to be a good team player. Over the years we have build a fantastic culture and its important that you will fit in well as part of a supportive, caring and fun team

Thorpes Physiotherapy are a multi-award winning private practice, serving the local community for the last 11 years.

You will receive regular IST with the rest of our team (which includes Extended Scope Practitioners) and one-to-one mentoring and support by a Course Principle and Chair of Education of the Society Of Musculoskeletal Medicine.
