Job summary

We are looking for a confident Bank Learning Disabilities Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care and a minimum of 12 months' experience working with Learning Disabilities. Youll be working a bank contract that allows you to pick up 12-hour shifts around your weekly availability: days (7:45 am-8 pm) and nights (7:45 pm -8 am) onsite at Marion House. Marion House is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and moderate to severe learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment, promoting independence and community integration. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each persons specific needs. We understand that consistency and continuity of care is important for the individuals we care for. Marion House is a five-bedroom home with one bedroom on the ground floor, three bedrooms on the first floor, and one studio apartment on the second floor. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. There is a large garden and a separate therapy/activity annex. **Must have experience working with Learning Disabilities**

  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
  • Safeguard
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
