Job responsibilities

We are looking for confident Learning Disabilities Support Worker with both a passion for delivering outstanding care alongside a minimum of 12 months experience working with Learning Disabilities.

Youll be working a bank contract allowing you to pick up 12 hour shifts around your weekly availability; Days (7:45 am-8pm) & Nights (7:45 pm -8 am) onsite at Marion House.

Marion House is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and moderate to severe learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment, promoting independence and community integration. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each persons specific needs. We understand that consistency and continuity of care is important for the individuals we care for.

Marion House is a five bed home consisting of 1 bedroom on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms on the first floor and 1 studio apartment on the second floor. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. There is a large garden and a separate therapy/activity annex.

**Must have experience working with Learning Disabilities**

Your day-to-day

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
