Job summary

Cygnet Woking/ Woking Lodge is a 91 bedded hospital with a variety of different wards, including two locked rehab wards (male), two low secure services (male and female), two acute wards (male and female), and a PICU (female). We have a designated qualified OT and OTA on each ward as well as Activity Coordinators supporting the activities around the hospital. Our environment has a holistic focus and includes a gym, ADL kitchen, Recovery College, Hair Salon, library, Tuckshop and other therapeutic spaces
Main duties of the job
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass OT assessments, treatment and management of patients within the service.
In this role you will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to our patients diagnosis and identified needs.
This will be based upon findings from assessments including associated risks, in order to develop treatment plans accordingly.
Prioritisation skills are key to manage the caseload of clients effectively and you will work closely with the Occupational Therapy and multidisciplinary team onsite.
