Job summary
Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists.
Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.
Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.
We ensure our occupational therapists have a voice through participating in service model development, utilising the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists
Main duties of the job
Broughton Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and a learning disability who may present with behaviours that challenge.
The service aims to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

The service supports up to 16 adults. Depending on the individuals level of need, there are 3 different areas within the service offering different levels of support. Sutton & Langley provide a high level of support for individuals who may be stepping down from a hospital setting or experienced multiple placement breakdowns. Bosley supports individuals who are preparing to move onto supported living. They provide a structured programme of vocational activity and daily living skills to enable the individual to experience a less restrictive environment safely.
