Your Role
Region: Scotland & North East & South Yorkshire
Hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: Circa £65,000 (full-time equivalent)
Car allowance included & Relocation package will be considered in line with Cygnet’s policy.

This is a new post to support our service provision of Occupational Therapy within Health and Social Care. The post holder will work alongside three other Regional Directors of Occupational Therapy.
The Regional Occupational Therapy Director will play a lead role in the company achieving its objectives. All Directors are expected to work as part of an integrated team and take lead responsibility for strategic and group issues outside their immediate sphere of responsibility.
The primary focus of this role is to provide leadership and management for professional issues associated with the Occupational Therapy workforce and the services provided by Occupational Therapists and associated support staff. This includes all relevant operational, developmental and strategic matters.
You will provide strategic leadership of Occupational Therapy staff and ensure that they deliver effective, safe and high quality care to individuals in our care.
Occupational Therapy Directorate
Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 160 Occupational Therapists across England, Scotland and Wales. Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.
Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathways.
We ensure our occupational therapists have a voice through participating in service model development, utilising the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
