Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to rotate between the London sites, Cromwell, Harley Street and Weybridge. This role is accountable for performing imaging procedures which may include MRI, CT and Xray, deferring to Senior or Lead radiologists when required. This role operates with a high degree of professionalism at all times to ensure provision of a high quality, responsive and patient-focused service.

Medical Imaging Partnerships and Prime Health deliver radiology services to both the NHS and private sector.

At our sites we are a small friendly team, who work closely together to run a successful service.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

l

Undertaking a wide variety MRI, CT and Xray examinations on different systems.

l

Preparing patients for imaging procedures, explains the procedure and ensures that the patient is comfortable and properly positioned.

l

Ensuring all referrals are justified and provide advise on protocols, if required

l

Ensuring consistently high-quality images are produced.

l

Assessing images for quality and clinical significant and escalate urgent findings as necessary.

l

Administering contrast media in line with PGD guidance, SOPs & protocols.

l

Responsible for own clinical areas with regards to linen change and cleanliness.
