We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, experienced and qualified Diagnostic Imaging Manager to join our Imaging team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a salary in the range of £63,000.00 - £67,000.00 DoE plus benefits.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include to:
Provide leadership, strategic direction, and general management of the Diagnostic Imaging Department on a daily basis.
Ensure delivery of high quality, evidence-based, safe, responsive, and patient focused service that meets the needs of all patients and the business.
Maximise opportunities to develop the Diagnostic Imaging Department business, increasing operational efficiency to achieve optimum utilisation of assets in line with, and in support of, the Hospital Business Plan
As a member of the Head of Department (HoDs) team, contribute to the strategic, operational, and business development of the Imaging Department.

About you
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Diploma or degree in Radiography with HCPC registration and evidence of CPD. A professional post-registration qualification in a relevant subject and a management qualification would be desirable.
- Current and consolidated clinical experience at a senior level in radiology with experience in managing a team of clinical staff, ideally within the private healthcare sector. Financial and commercial experience together with QSI awareness and experience would be desirable.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all professional disciplines.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills
- Able to deal effectively with difficult, sensitive, or challenging issues in a supportive and professional manner to effect positive outcomes.
