Job summary
As the Admin Clerk for Meden Medical Services, you provide crucial administrative support to keep the GP Practice running smoothly. You will ensure patients have the information they need for their care and ensure that the healthcare professionals (GPs and Practice Nurses alike) can access crucial patient records.
The type of work is varied day-to-day, but we require you to have a good standard of education and computer skills. You will learn medical terminology and coding.
We are looking for an individual to work 16 hours per week in this role. Work pattern will be discussed at interview and mutually agreed to suit both you and the practice.
Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing all incoming patient correspondence
- Following protocol to process information
- Ensuring all patients have follow-up appointments booked
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths – or equivalent
- Some administrative experience and skills
