Job summary
We have an exciting
opportunity to recruit an additional pharmacist to join our PCN pharmacy team
in the West Somerset. You will ideally be a qualified independent prescriber,
but applications are welcome from those working towards this qualification. The post is for one whole time equivalent,
and we welcome applications for both full or part-time employment (minimum
0.5WTE), flexible working and some degree of home working will be considered.
Salary £44,895.12 -
£46,420.31 DOE
Main duties of the job
You will based within
our Minehead based PCN hub alongside our existing pharmacy, social
prescribing and ‘Living Better’ complex care teams. Our own premises for the
development and retention of PCN roles and our neighbourhood project is just
one way in which we showcase our forward thinking and commitment to the team.
We host frequent wellbeing/ development days and hold team development at the
heart of what we do; along with a healthy prescription of humour, beautiful

Linking with the GP
practices, providing invaluable support to the GPs and other healthcare
professionals within the multi-disciplinary teams. The role will include a
substantial component of face to face patient contact, as well as liaison
with colleagues in community pharmacy, secondary care and care homes. You
will join an established team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians within
Symphony Healthcare Services, and given full support to develop your chosen
career pathway. There will be a requirement to participate in the national CPPE training scheme for
pharmacists in primary care.
