Job summary

Salary: Competitive Salary plus Benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Main duties of the job

• Conduct a full range of audiological assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, speech testing, acoustic reflexes, and otoacoustic emissions.

• Perform hearing aid evaluations and fittings based on audiological profiles and patient needs.
• Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids or assistive listening devices using Real Ear Measurements and patient feedback.

• Provide counselling and education to patients and families on hearing loss, device usage, communication strategies, and ongoing hearing management.

• Deliver compassionate and clear communication, adjusting explanations to suit the patients level of understanding and communication needs.

• Liaise with ENT consultants, GPs, speech and language therapists, and other allied professionals to coordinate care and refer patients appropriately.

• Contribute to the smooth running of audiology services, ensuring efficient use of clinic time and resources.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, consent, safeguarding, data protection, and clinical governance policies.
