We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Nights to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working in the Surgical Wards Team.

Bath Clinic has undergone an exciting transformation with brand-new theatre facilities installed in 2023 and upgraded patient-facing areas. It is an excellent time to join our hospital and be at the forefront of its exciting new chapter in delivering first class care to the local community.

There will be many opportunities for professional growth and personal development, all fully funded and supported by Circle Health Group. We have an on-site Practice Based Educator to support with continuous development and training needs as well as, a nationwide network of Educators and Learning & Development Practitioners.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours per week across flexible shift patterns.

Main duties of the job

You support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.

You support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.

You communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.

You act as an advocate for safeguarding patients, demonstrating the courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.

You demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.

You assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.

You prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record-keeping.

You conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability.
  • Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidence-based and takes account of national best practice standards.
  • Basic workload / shift management skills.
  • Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations.

  • Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
