Physiotherapist - MSKCircle Integrated Care - North Hampshire 37.5 Hours & PermanentUp to £42,618 (depending on experience + benefits(depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the MSK department.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. Part time hours are also available. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Chartered Physiotherapist.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management.
  • Degree level educated. Masters would be beneficial.
  • At least 3 years MSK experience.

Main duties of the job

Duties of this role include:

  • To manage a complex clinical MSK caseload
  • Be able to know when to refer onto, podiatry or onto an APP or back to the GP when required.
  • To take part in service training.
  • To take an active role in supporting the implementation of national developments locally and supervise junior staff.
  • To ensure appropriate referral onto different disciplines.
  • Keep abreast of developments in physiotherapy nationally
  • Work well in an MDT clinic.
  • Acupuncture would be a benefit but not essential
