Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant at a Darcy Gardens care home, you'll be responsible for helping residents enjoy their day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. You will be assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship, as well as sharing wonderful moments and memories with residents. Your role will be varied and fulfilling, with tasks ranging from supporting residents with their food and drink, following care plans, to ensuring each resident receives personalized one-to-one time. It's a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills meaningfully and progress in your career, as the care home's population is expanding and new residents are welcomed weekly. You'll work either 33 or 44 hours per week in 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends.
