Job summary
As a Bank Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the wellbeing, independence and social engagement of the residents.
Main duties of the job
Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential as training will be provided to develop your skills and progress your career.
