Job summary

As a Driver at a Barchester care home, you'll provide a service that helps us give our residents the best possible care and support. You'll get behind the wheel to make all kinds of journeys involving residents, staff and visitors, and you'll be happy to interact with everyone you drive. You'll also be responsible for keeping our vehicles in tip-top condition.

Main duties of the job

In this Driver role, you'll be responsible for transporting residents, staff, and visitors to and from the care home. You'll need to have a clean driving licence and be committed to maintaining high standards of care, support, and cleanliness. You should have completed NVQ Level 2 Health & Safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and infection control training.
