Job summary
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. Your role will involve devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the residents' wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Main duties of the job
Your key responsibilities as an Activities Coordinator will include getting to know the residents and their families, then creating tailored activity programmes focused on their individual needs and interests. You'll need strong organisational skills, a driven mindset, and the ability to inspire both residents and staff to participate in activities both within the home and in the local community.
