As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. Your role will involve devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the goal of maximizing the residents' wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Main duties of the job
You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join the team as an Activities Coordinator. Your organizational skills and driven mindset will ensure that you always get things done and make things happen. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire the residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential as training will be provided to help you develop your skills and progress your career.
