Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Deputy Payroll Manager to join their team in Inverness. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing and payment of over 17,000 employees, providing support and guidance to the payroll team, and deputizing for the Payroll Manager when needed.

Main duties of the job

As the Deputy Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing and payment of more than 17,000 Barchester Healthcare employees. You will provide support and guidance to the payroll team, deputize for the Payroll Manager in their absence, and work closely with management, operational, and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the payroll function. You will also be responsible for understanding and implementing company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures, processing RTI Returns and the reconciliation of PAYE, P11d expenses and benefits, and supporting year-end processing.

We are looking for a motivated individual who will help us continue to deliver an exceptional service to the business.
