Job summary
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. Your role will involve devising imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, with the aim of maximizing the wellbeing, independence and social engagement of the residents.
Main duties of the job
You'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join the team as an Activities Coordinator. Your strong organizational skills and driven mindset will ensure that you always get things done and make things happen. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire the residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Although previous similar experience would be ideal, it is not essential as the organization will provide the necessary training to develop your skills and progress your career.
