The role of an Activities Coordinator in a Barchester care home is to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. Main duties of the job
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for getting to know the residents and their families in order to create tailored activity programmes. Your warm, empathetic, and personable approach, combined with strong organizational skills and a driven mindset, will enable you to inspire both residents and staff to participate in activities within the home and in the local community. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not essential as Barchester will provide the necessary training to develop your skills and support your career progression.
