Job summary
As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. You'll devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. It's an extremely rewarding role where you'll get to know the residents and their families, and create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
Main duties of the job
Your organisational skills and driven mind-set mean you always get things done and make things happen. Your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire the residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential as you'll receive the necessary training to develop your skills and progress your career.
