Job summary
As a Receptionist at a Barchester care home, you'll provide the warm welcome that helps to make sure every resident and visitor feels at home with us. The role is very varied, involving answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing the reception area, and showing prospective residents and their families around. You may also need to carry out some administrative tasks like typing, photocopying, and filing.
Main duties of the job
You'll need to be professional, caring, courteous, and well organised to join us as a Receptionist. You'll take a real interest in our residents and go out of your way to make every visitor feel at home. No formal qualifications are required, but you will need a good telephone manner and strong communication skills.
