Job summary

Main duties of the job

The Head of Maintenance role at Barchester Healthcare involves maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the care home building, grounds, and equipment. You can expect plenty of variety as a Head of Maintenance with us. You'll turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. That could mean fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting some new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. We'll also need you to liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team.
