Main duties of the job

The Community Lead role at Barchester Healthcare involves leading and supervising a team of Carers and Senior Carers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents. You'll be responsible for recording observations, carrying out simple wound dressing procedures, and ensuring a safe, reassuring, and happy environment for residents and their families. You'll need senior-level care experience, as well as the ability to supervise others and provide clinical care for older adults. A Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, along with a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification, are required.
