Job summary
As a Community Lead within Barchester's Residential Care Homes, you'll play a vital role in making residents' lives stimulating and fulfilling. You'll lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers, ensuring residents receive person-centred care and support. The role involves some clinical responsibilities, and you'll be a role model for your team, building relationships both within the home and externally.
Main duties of the job
The Community Lead role at Barchester Healthcare involves leading and supervising a team of Carers and Senior Carers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents. You'll be responsible for recording observations, carrying out simple wound dressing procedures, and ensuring a safe, reassuring, and happy environment for residents and their families. You'll need senior-level care experience, as well as the ability to supervise others and provide clinical care for older adults. A Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, along with a willingness to undertake the assessor qualification, are required.
