Job summary

This is an opportunity to work as a Second Chef in a care home setting, where you will have the chance to deliver high-quality, hotel/restaurant standards of food without the long hours and split shifts typically found in the hospitality industry. Main duties of the job

As a Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal produce to create delicious and nutritious meals for the residents. You will assist the Head Chef in menu development, ensuring that the dishes cater to the needs and preferences of the residents. Your responsibilities will include managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, working within a budget, and completing regular audits. You will also be expected to create a warm and welcoming environment for both residents and staff.
