Job summary
Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Administrator to join their team and play a pivotal role within the home's management team. The Care Home Administrator will provide the General Manager with the support needed to ensure the efficient running of a high-quality care home, encompassing various responsibilities such as managing customer experience, HR, recruitment, payroll, and finance, as well as supervising junior members of the administration team.
Main duties of the job
The Care Home Administrator will be responsible for promoting a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors, managing inquiries and showrounds for prospective families, supporting resident and family feedback, assisting with staff recruitment, preparing payroll, providing HR guidance to employees, and ensuring that all personal files are stored securely. They will also be required to attend meetings, produce accurate notes and minutes, manage safe contents and petty cash, update staff records, and offer guidance on staff development opportunities.
