Forest Care Centre is based just off the A6191, less than a mile outside Mansfield town centre with its good rail links and bus network. The bus journey from Mansfield town centre is just 10 minutes.
Our state-of-the-art, purpose-built care home has just 20 beds, creating a real homely and friendly atmosphere. The home is light and airy with large windows overlooking our well-tended gardens. We have a range of shared lounges, a sensory room, an activity and occupation room and a lifestyle kitchen. Our focus is on helping our residents to live as independently as possible, but with the peace of mind that comes from knowing our expert team is always there to support them. We provide the best in bespoke, person-centred care. We also have a packed activities programme that includes everything from outings in our minibus through to baking and craft projects, and pet therapy.

Main duties of the job
ABOUT THE ROLEAs Care Home DeputyManager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, youll support the delivery of the quality care were known for. Working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with everything from ensuring care standards to motivating your team. Youll inspire a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking our regulatory compliance. Youll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals.
ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Care Home DeputyManager & Clinical Lead, youll need be a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments. Well also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. Finally, youll be compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.
