Job summary
The post holder will work to provide the highest standards of patient care and perform competencies as required as a Receptionist/ Administrator. Delivering a supportive and non-judgemental service to patients and their supporters attending the NUPAS Greater London clinics. Co-ordinating the patient pathway throughout the patients time during the clinic.
Main duties of the job
Deliver a consistent, Patient centred, caring, confidential and professional reception and administration service.
To enable the smooth running of a Patient focused service.
Ensure all Patient case notes are processed in a consistent and timely fashion in line with monthly invoicing requirements.
Treat all Patients with dignity and respect and maintain strict Patient confidentiality.
Liaise with clinical and medical staff regarding Patient and medical queries.
Co-ordinate Patient treatment pathway throughout time in the clinic
Chaperone ultrasound scanning process when required.
Co-ordinate and facilitate the delivery of Patient prescriptions and legal documents.
Be the first point of contact for all Patients and visitors.
Friendly and confidential approach.
Book Patients and then enter into comprehensive booking system for treatments, rescans and other appointments
Allocate Patient notes to correct area in the clinic to ensure smooth treatment process and co-ordinate the Patient journey.
Liaise with clinical staff and doctors to ensure efficient delivery and prioritising of Patient treatment.
Discharge each patient and ensure correct details on booking system, add patients to the daily list, print GP letter.
Robust process for the preparation of Patient case notes, including legal documentation.
Ensure all notes are prepared and ready for consultation and for treatment to proceed on the patient arrival.
Accurate and timely completion of data input whilst on reception.
