Job summary

You will liaise with our product designers and project managers to understand the needs of our clients, and work with the team to translate those requirements into new product features that delight our users.

Main duties of the job

Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing guidance and support in technical matters and best practices. Write well-structured, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement design concepts into functional user interfaces. Develop and maintain modular, reusable front-end components to streamline development processes. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise front end performance for maximum speed and scalability. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in front end development, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.

The Benchmarking Network are looking for a Lead Front-End Developer to join our growing, friendly team and lead the team of front-end developers. You will have the opportunity to work on a new software product from the outset, developing in VueJS (using Nuxt), to help our healthcare clients understand their data to improve the outcomes of their patients, as well as maintaining and improving our existing software suite.     • Knowledge of unit testing and TDD.
    • Capable of using design applications such as Figma.
    • Excellent IT skills including fluency with all Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Willingness to work flexibly and adaptably.
