Job summary

BMC are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to join our friendly team of front and back end developers.

Main duties of the job

Role responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and deploy new and existing APIs and applications using JavaScript, Python, or Golang. Work in close partnership with the BMC project teams and other Development Hub team members to ensure functionality meets user requirements. Implement testing strategies; create and follow development processes to ensure products are of the highest robustness and quality. Follow and contribute to coding standards and best practices. Analyse the cause of problems, resolve performance issues, implement modifications, or recommend other remedial actions. Provide supporting documentation and prepare training manuals for users. Identify opportunities for innovation, improved productivity, efficiency, and quality within the technical team and across the company. Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues from Development Hub and across the company. Line management and mentoring of junior colleagues.
