Mental Health Support Co-Ordinator
This role may be part-time (a minimum of 30 hrs per week) or full-time (37.5) or an agreed amount between the two.
Alliance Psychological Services is an independent provider of counselling and psychological therapy services based in the Tees Valley area and working across the North-East region.
Our Alliance Plus , Private and Commercial service provides bespoke, comprehensive support for individuals, employers, employees, and professionals. Our highly experienced, fully accredited team provide the very best support to our clients whether that be in the form of the design and delivery of training and development programs to the provision of a range of high quality therapeutic services.
We are seeking a Mental Health Support Co-Ordinator to join our busy Alliance Plus Team.
Main duties of the job
This role involves conducting assessments, creating individualised care plans, collaborating with therapists and other healthcare professionals, and providing ongoing support to ensure clients receive appropriate care. They will offer clinical and administrative support to people using the service and to colleagues in the team. They will contribute to active waiting list management and triage in collaboration with other members of the team and will assist in offering a range of evidence-based self- help interventions. They will ensure that people assessed for the service across all service pathways are supported whilst waiting for treatment and will contribute towards meeting service targets for waiting times. They will assist in the development of the Referral to Treatment pathway and processes in collaboration with Service Leads.
This position may require flexible hours between 8am until 8pm weekdays.

- Provide a triage assessment to clients predominantly entering our Alliance Plus pathway.
- To provide support to the people who use our services whilst waiting to begin treatment including maintaining regular contact and providing information on other sources of help.
- To offer advice and support to other members of the wider team, including GPs and other Health Professionals, on mental health issues, and in relation to appropriate referral pathways for patients with mental health needs.
