Job summary

Alliance Psychological Services is an independent provider of counselling and psychological therapy services based in the Tees Valley area and working across the North-East region. We are working in partnership with Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind to provide the IMPACT on Teesside Service.

We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing & Development Assistant who will work with our Quality and Governance Lead and Management Team to implement and oversee Alliances business development strategy.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will have a focus on developing and maintaining our digital and online media platform presence, including our website. They will support Managers in identifying and developing new areas of business to achieve our strategic goals and vision and to increase business income and activity. The post holderwill work to maintain and develop both new and existing relationships to promote and market Alliances services.

They will support the coordination of new bids and tenders and assist in other business development activities within Alliance, workingacross the North-East.

Develop the marketing and promotion of Alliance and its services.

Keep social media accounts active and up to date, promoting services and sharing recent activity.

Assist in the sourcing of funding opportunities to support Alliances strategic vision.

Assist in the tendering and bidding process.

Support the development of the Business Plan and Marketing Strategy for Alliance

Keep abreast of innovations and best practice in mental health and social care.

Support in coordinating and developing plans to ensure all quality related targets in contracts for services are achieved.

Specific Duties

  • To review, monitor and develop Alliances website.
  • To support in the review of all marketing materials and to develop further marketing materials, ensuring they are consistent with specific branding for the department.
  • To work with Service Managers to plan social media activities and updates and help departments to work towards their individual specific business goals, specifically relating to marketing activities.
  • To collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns and assist with capturing and analysing social media metrics.
  • To monitor social channels for trending news and ideas and capitalise on those trends through our social media accounts where relevant to Alliance and our sector.
  • To support Managers to develop proposals and packages of interventions for existing and new clients and prepare power point presentations.
  • To support the development and implementation of strategy, including developing and reviewing Alliances business plan
  • To support the development of the public profile of Alliance, and the services we offer.
  • To undertake Continuous Professional Development activities to improve own performance as appropriate and attend regular management supervision.

In addition, the Post holder will be required to operate within agreed Alliance and Professional guidelines and codes of practice and to undertake other duties as may be commensurate with the nature, remit and grade of the post.
