Alliance Psychological
Services is an independent provider of counselling and psychological therapy
services based in the Tees Valley area and working across the North-East
region. We are working in partnership with Middlesbrough & Stockton Mind to
deliver the IMPACT on Teesside service.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative service providing
high intensity interventions in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), working
with adults aged 16+ within the framework of the Improving Access to
Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Programme. High Intensity Therapists deliver a
variety of CBT interventions, including face to face, telephone, and digital
based work.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will hold an IAPT recognised qualification in HI CBT, be
enthusiastic, hardworking, and able to meet specified targets in order to
deliver a high-quality Primary Care Mental Health Service.
Full time and part time positions available.
Whilst we
continue to offer a range of ways for people to access our services including
face-to-face appointments across the Teesside area, we are also able to
consider an element of remote delivery and will be happy to discuss options for
hybrid working in line with patient and service needs.
Successful applicants
will be employed by one of organisations within the IMPACT partnership, which
will be discussed at appointment.

The Postholder will provide a range of

They
will work as part of Impact’s Team serving GP Practices across the Teesside
area. They will hold an IAPT recognised qualification in HI CBT and may also
offer other High Intensity therapies including IPT, MBCBT and EMDR.
This
position may require flexible hours between 8am until 8pm weekdays.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To
work as a member of the Impact PWT Service Team
- To
create and maintain effective working relationships within the PWT Team
and elsewhere
- To
offer advice and support to other members of the wider Primary Care Team,
including GPs and other Health Professionals, on mental health issues, and
in relation to appropriate referral pathways for patients with mental
health needs

liaise effectively with Secondary Care and voluntary sector organisations
and services

attend meetings and provide reports as required

assist in the development and promotion of the service

provide a range of therapeutic interventions

provide assessment, including risk assessment, of clients referred for
