Salford GP Provider Board
(GPPB) brings together representatives from GP provider organisations (Salford
Primary Care Networks, LMC and Salford Primary Care Together) to consider, in a
systematic and coordinated way, the delivery of strategic and operational
matters involving GP providers. It has a mandate from GM Integrated Care Board
(GM ICB) to ensure that externally we have one united voice and can work
successfully and professionally, in partnership with the wider system.

collective membership, we are now at the point of needing to advance our

vital the board furthers its maturity by creating a governance structure which
allows the board to be robust and accountable with clear lines of
responsibility to its members, whilst growing the collective potential of our
sector.
This Project Management Officer role is to
rapidly progress what is described above. Within the 6-month period of this
project, the aim is to review the current position of the board, identify what
needs to be done to achieve significant gains for our sector attracting
increased income and efficiency, bringing benefit to practices and their
patients and initiate delivery of this.
Main duties of the job
To engage with Salford General Practice to
understand the immediate, short term and longer-term priorities for us in
working together as a collective.
To engage with other relevant and key stakeholders

achieve for Salford General Practice in 2025 and beyond.

secure new contracts in Salford, increasing opportunities and income for
Salford General Practice.
