Job summary

To support the Hub Sales & Business Development Director by providing local marketing, communications, business and administrative support in order to execute and deliver the Hub business development plan. This role will be based at Spire Claremont with the expectation to support Nottingham and Leicester hospitals as required.

Main duties of the job

Role & General Responsibilities

  • Create, implement and deliver a Hub marketing plan linked to revenue generation targets.
  • Undertake local marketing activities including design and production of advertising material.
  • Co-ordinate and produce internal and external communications including copy writing.
  • Manage all social media channels for the Hub, including Facebook, Ryalto, LinkedIn, Instagram and Eventbrite.
  • Website content management and treatment pages for 3 x hospitals, including copy writing.
  • Design, organise, produce and monitor the leaflets, literature and posters for all hospitals.
  • Co-ordinate planned PR and local sponsorship activity for the Hub, in consultation with SBDD and external PR support - including drafting of press releases and patient testimonials.

  • Assist in developing the relationships with key stakeholder groups including (but not necessarily limited to consultants, GPs, staff and PMI staff.
  • Design, produce and organise video footage where required, working with external agencies to brief and budgets.
  • Support Primary Healthcare Relationships Managers colleagues in the Hub hospitals with promotional material for all events.
  • Support SBDD with administration such as, but not limited to, collation of reports and presentation materials.
  • Work with the Central Marketing Team to monitor and report on website and social media activity and plan future strategies according to this analysis.

Manage marketing activities to budget and maintain full spend records ensuring that invoices are received and paid within timeframe.

Promote new services and treatments across the Hub.

Act as an ambassador for service excellence, consistently setting an example to hospital Hub colleagues across all types of communication.

Undertake training and development relevant to the post.

Carry out duties delegated by the SBDD that reasonably fall within the general nature and level of responsibility of the role.

  • Educated to GCSE A level or beyond
  • Marketing or communications qualification, or equivalent experience gained in previous marketing role

Experience

  • Experience of delivering to tight deadlines in a creative, communications or other production/project environment
  • Copywriting skill and ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, social media
  • Understanding the healthcare market
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating an ability to positively engage in stakeholder relationship management
  • Ability to work effectively within their Hub as part of a team and on own initiative, while operating within a national framework
  • Balance the role demands and display excellent time management and prioritisation skills
