Job summary
CBC Health Federation are looking for a Head of Finance to support the organisation in delivering our objectives.
We are a not-for-profit company with a wide and diverse portfolio of services that we deliver as an NHS provider. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing and approachable person, skilled and qualified in accountancy to head up and lead our finance team. We are going through a variety of service transformations and this post is to strategically support the CE, Board, and the business with all aspects of financial support.

Main duties of the job
Be accountable for all the company financial requirements including ensuring processes and procedures are in place to safely protect the finances within the parent company and all of the trading companies, managing risk and adopting best practices.
This post is a senior post within the organisation and will report directly to the Chief Executive. The Head of Finance will lead a small team of staff to support safe and effective ways of working for the whole business. The post holder must be flexible to the needs of the company and have a can do attitude. Previous NHS or primary care financial experience would be an advantage.
