CBC Health Federation are launching a Flexible Workforce Hub. The Hub will provide sessional staff to GP Practices across Gateshead Primary Care Networks to cover annual leave, short term absences and provide additional workforce to increase capacity to offer patient appointments.
The Flexible Workforce Hub Administrator will provide essential support to the Flexible Workforce Hub Service Manager on the implementation and development of CBC Health Federation’s Hub. The post holder will be experienced within an administrative role will be self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The role requires strong organisational and MS Office skills.

- Support the coordination of training and education for Hub staff.
- Support the successful on-boarding of Hub staff through the administration of recruitment processes.
- Liaise with Gateshead Primary Care Practices to assess effectiveness of Hub.
- Book appropriate training venues and equipment, prepare event materials and handouts as required.
- To prepare, produce, review, and circulate all documents required for meetings and events in a timely fashion and to a high standard. Minute meetings where required. Drawing up action points, circulating and following up outcomes.
- Managing and appropriately distributing mail via an NHS email account.
- Answering queries and questions in a timely fashion, signposting as required.
- Being polite, courteous, and professional in customer and stakeholder communications.
- Be accountable for the designated portfolio of work.
- Good standards of general education - minimum of 4 GCSEs, at Grade 4 or above or equivalent must include English Language.
- Keyboarding/typing qualification equivalent to RSA 3/OCR Advanced text/word. processing or equivalent proven typing skills to a high standard.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge/experience (or working towards).
- Experience/knowledge of Primary Care and Primary Care Networks.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Experience of using EMIS.
- Experience of delivering training to staff.
