Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic psychology graduate who is keen to gain experience in order to progress towards applied training in clinical psychology. To apply for this post applicants should have a psychology degree conferring GBR, and, ideally, previous experience as an assistant psychologist, support worker or similar role.

Main duties of the job

Applicants should be interested in and aware of the processes involved in service-based research and evaluation, and will have basic skills and confidence in the use of software packages (e.g. SPSS, Excel) and in the process of quantitative data analysis. Applicants should be enthusiastic about outcome monitoring and psychological measurement, both in terms of the use of standardised tools but also in terms of considering ways of monitoring service user experiences with people who cannot necessarily describe this to us due to their cognitive difficulties.

Above all applicants should be team-players and committed to improving service users experiences, decreasing levels of distress and improving quality of life.
