Job summary

We are looking for a well-motivated, organised individual with excellent communication skills to assist with administration support (including mandatory training records) and training delivery.

You should feel comfortable working as part of a team but also be confident working alone. Attention to detail and flexibility are essential to this post. For this role you will need to have experience of working with Microsoft Office applications.

Main duties of the job

- Being a point of contact for training enquiries both internally and for members/practices of South Norfolk Healthcare.

- Recording and implementing mandatory training schedules for staff, both clinical and non-clinical. Part of your role will be to maintain the organisation’s mandatory training register and ensuring that staff and managers know when mandatory trainings are due.

- Report regularly on the status of staff’s mandatory training to the Clinical Governance Committee.

- Coordinating training sessions and booking venues as required. This will include issuing invitations to practices within Microsoft Teams and/or email to clinical feedback sessions, and trainings.

- Preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes of meetings/training sessions.

- Preparing handouts and delegate sheets.

- Creating online registrations for attendees and implementing online booking software.

- Assisting in face-to-face training delivery.

- Assisting in producing training material (written and eLearning).

- Maintaining the training section of the company website and being responsible for its accuracy.

We are looking for a new Training Officer to join our dynamic team and help deliver continued excellence in the primary healthcare sector. The role will be predominately working from home but with face to face meetings on occasion, and attending training events at various locations. 

Responsible to - The Primary Care Network project Co-ordinator.

Relationship with - The Director of Practice Engagement.

The Clinical Director or training for specifically clinical issues.

Invitees and attendees of training amongst member practices. For example, GP's, Nurses and Practice Managers.
